WAYNE HIGHLANDS YOUTH FOOTBALL ORGANIZATION

Dear Parents:

Welcome to the 2019 Wayne Highland Youth Football and Cheerleading Season!
The coaches and the Board have been working hard to prepare for this season and look forward to building on the past successes of the program.
It is the purpose of the Wayne Highland Youth Football Organization (WHYFO) to teach and promote youth football and cheerleading. Our primary concern is that our children learn the sport of football and cheerleading properly and by the rules.  We believe winning is secondary to good sportsmanship.  We believe that all children and parents should feel confident that they are participating in a safe, healthy and fun activity. To insure this, WHYFO insists on high standards of conduct and fair play from all of its Board Members, their coaches, players and parents.

-Here are a few key things to know before we start the season:

-Our website WHYFO.com and Wayne Highlands Youth Football on Facebook are your primary place for information.

-24-hour rule - No parent should address a coach on the field for any reason. (Outside of an emergency) If there is an issue, the parent should wait 24 hours and call the coach to discuss. If the issue cannot be resolved, please contact Brian Reed our Football Commissioner or Jessica Andersen our Cheerleading Coordinator. If it still has not been resolved contact Bill VanHorn, WHYFO General Manager or Mike Collins, WHYFO President.

-Coaches- We have an outstanding and dedicated coaching staff. Please allow our coaches to do their job.
-Please do not go on the football field while teams are practicing if you have a question please wait until after practice has ended and discuss it with your head coach.
